Programs

Whether you are just starting out or want to go pro, we have a right program for you. Drawing on years of experience, we give students an opportunity to practice at their own level and ability while getting individual attention they need to succeed.

Adult Boxing

Want to get fit? Want to fight? Learn the “sweet science” of boxing at Allied MMA. As they learn to fight, boxers develop extreme agility, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance.

Allied boxing classes include jumping rope, shadow boxing, footwork drills, hitting the heavy bag, and padwork with partners. Anyone who wants to take their training to the next level can also learn to spar in a supportive and safe environment.

Our classes are affiliated and sanctioned by USA Boxing and our instructors are credentialed by USAB.

Adult Kickboxing

Allied kickboxing offers a unique emphasis on technical skill, fluid combinations, and excellent footwork, all within our supportive and collaborative training community.

Kickboxing leads to increased physical strength, balance, agility, and cardio. Sure, it is a fantastic workout, but at Allied you get even more than that. Our program is designed so that you have a chance to learn and understand what you are doing—and why—instead of just rushing through it.

Our kickboxing classes include padwork with partners, kicking drills, and Dutch drills. When you are ready, you will also have the opportunity to spar in a safe and controlled environment.

Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

If you want to learn how to stay calm under pressure, successfully defend yourself, neutralize almost any physical conflict, and get a full-body workout in the process, then Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is the class for you.

In addition to the personal benefits it brings, BJJ is unique among martial arts and sports in that the larger, stronger person does not necessarily have the advantage. Due to BJJ’s emphasis on technique, balance, and leverage, a smaller or weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger opponent. But beware: once you start, you will become addicted!

Adult Muay Thai

Like Muay Thai training in Thailand, Allied’s Muay Thai classes emphasize respect, friendliness, proper technique, and mental toughness. “The Art of Eight Limbs” uses hands, elbows, knees, shins, and feet as part of a strong, forward-driven offense.

In this class, you will shadow box, hit the heavy bag, and do pad work with partners, all while strengthening your limbs, conditioning your core, and increasing your cardio. In addition to strikes such as kicks, punches, and elbows, you will learn the proper technique for applying clinches, throws, and sweeps.

Adult MMA

Our MMA program will help you master fundamentals of Mixed Martial Arts and learn advanced skillset to give you an upper hand in the game. Even if you don’t plan to compete, the program is great for learning to fight while getting into shape. Plus you will have an opportunity to train alongside experienced fighters.

Kids Kickboxing (7+ yrs)

Combining different kinds of Kickboxing, this kids program offers a fun, structured emphasis on kickboxing technique, conditioning, and teamwork. Kids learn a valuable skill while also burning energy, getting a great workout, and collaborating with others.

Beyond the physical benefits, the lessons taught in Allied Kid’s Kickboxing will serve students both in the gym and in life.

Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/ Mini Ninjas (4–6 yrs)

Our Mini Ninjas program is designed to introduce young children to the art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu with an ideal blend of fun and learning. A friendly and supportive environment in which every child will get the tools and instruction they need to develop the basic skills necessary for progression into the youth program.

Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (6–8 yrs)

Our Kids Brazilian jiu-jitsu program offers a safe training environment that promotes confidence, focus and discipline, important life-long skills that carry over to school, sports, and arts.

At these ages children require structure, yet still want to play and have fun. Many of our warm up and technique drills are game-based. Students also learn excellent social skills in a group setting.

Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (9+ yrs)

Our youth Brazilian jiu-jitsu program places greater emphasis on the importance of attention, discipline and structure. Students will learn more advanced techniques to prepare them for competition or even to join classes within our adult’s program whenever they reach the proper age.

Youth Boxing (12+ yrs)

As far back as ancient Sparta, boxing has been used as a tool to help youth learn to cope with the stresses and challenges of life. Martial arts training gives teens the opportunity to learn and grow as part of a diverse community. At the same time, it provides a space of solitude and self-progression, apart from home and school, where they can learn to channel their emotions, aggression, and energy, and apply them in a productive way.

Allied’s Youth Boxing program is designed to help teens build confidence, patience, and physical skills through our USA Boxing mandated curriculum.
